METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGEMENT DATABASE OF INTELLIGENCE MANAGEMENT PLATFORM IN MOBILE SWITCHING CENTER OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A system and method for managing the databases of an intelligent management platform in an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) is provided to select one of the other database managers as a master database manager in case that the master database manager of an intelligent management platform gets out of order. CONSTITUTION: If an arbitrary database manager is activated, the database manager starts its own database(301). Then the database manager transmits a master database existence confirmation message to each node(303). The database manager checks whether a response signal for the message is inputted(305). In case that the signal to inform the database manager that a master database manager has already existed is inputted, the database manager newly adds the master database manager to a database manager list after setting a database monitoring function to an inactive state(307,309). However, if there is no selected master database manager yet, the database manager sets the database monitoring function to an active state and executes a function as a master database manager(311).
