A method for providing information searched in the Internet is provided to obtain systematic information on a specific purpose and action in an Internet information search environment and reduce unnecessary information search. A method for providing information searched in the Internet includes a step of storing action information on a person or an object using a directory storage structure, a step of matching web site information to the stored action information, a step of searching action information including an information search request inputted by a user, and a step of providing the searched action information and web meta information to the user.
