TEST EQUIPMENT AND DIAGNOSIS METHOD FOR LEAK OF WATER-COOLED GENERATOR STATOR WINDINGS

A device for testing the leak of water-cooled generator stator windings and a diagnosis method thereof are provided to diagnose the mechanical state of the stator windings by executing vacuum decay, pressure drop, and helium tracing tests after completely removing the cooling water existing in the stator windings. A device for testing the leak of water-cooled generator stator windings(10) comprises leak test equipment for diagnosing the mechanical state of the water-cooled generator stator windings by carrying out vacuum decay, pressure drop, and helium tracing after perfectly removing the cooling water remaining in the windings, in order to find out the leak state and leaking position of the cooling water in the stator windings, and a helium leak detector(20) connected with the leak test equipment to detect the leak of helium for the stator windings.
