A system and a method for consulting an electricity rate based on remote meter data are provided to enable a customer to move an electricity consumption time slot to a low rate time slot or select an economical or suitable electricity rate system by enabling the customer to determine the electricity consumption time slot and the electricity rate system based on the remote meter data in the web. A network manager(120) manages communication with a customer terminal(200), and a customer authenticator(130) processes user authentication in the connected customer terminal. An I/O(Input/Output) part(140) processes data I/O of a remote metering system. A database manager(150) stores and manages the remote meter data of a home by using the remote metering system. A remote metering manager(160) provides an analysis result by extracting electricity consumption information included in the remote meter data. A display window manager(170) displays a customer pattern analysis table and an electricity rate simulation result for the electricity consumption information by each period, meter number, and/or time slot.
