摘要

A sound absorbing and thermal insulating material of the glass cloth pattern surface thermo-bonded with a PET mat and glass cloth is provided to have no ill effects on the human body, to have flame retardant properties, to prevent the occurrence of poisonous gas in a fire and to have excellent sound absorbing capacity. A sound absorbing and thermal insulating material of the glass cloth pattern surface thermo-bonded with a PET mat and glass cloth comprises a PET mat(1) made of PET fiber, and glass cloth(2) thermo-bonded to one side of the PET mat, wherein the glass cloth enables to be thermo-bonded to a part except many selected parts of a contact surface between the glass cloth and the PET mat to improve sound absorbing capacity by air layers formed on the unbonded parts between the glass cloth and the PET mat and to make the unbonded parts projected relatively to the bonded parts of the glass cloth to form various projected patterns on the surface of the glass cloth.
