A catalytic composition for removing nitrogen oxide, a method for producing the same, and a method for removing the nitrogen oxide using the same are provided to produce a catalyst having an economical and stable denitrifying performance, by forming the catalytic composition of manganese oxide and activated carbon supporting metal. A catalytic composition for removing nitrogen oxide comprises manganese oxide and activated carbon at a weight ratio of 2-5:5-8. The activated carbon supports 2-4 wt% of metal. The catalytic composition is produced by immersing the activated carbon in a metal oxide solution and drying the immersed activated carbon so as to support the metal on a surface of the activated carbon, pulverizing the manganese oxide and the activated carbon supporting metal to obtain particles of 100-120 mesh, and mixing the pulverized manganese oxide and activated carbon supporting metal. Further, the metal is K, and the manganese oxide is MnO2.
