A gene encoding variable regions of the antibody is provided to be used for developing a humanized antibody detecting the amygdalin in blood. A monoclonal antibody against amygdalin comprises a light chain variable region having a structure of FR1-CDR1-FR2-CDR2-FR3-CDR3-FR4, wherein each CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3 is an amino acid sequence described as CDR in SEQ ID : NOs. 21 to 24; and FR1, FR2, FR3, and FR4 are 4 structure regions derived from a mammal, and a heavy chain variable region having a structure of FR1-CDR1-FR2-CDR2-FR3-CDR3-FR4, wherein each CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3 is an amino acid sequence described as CDR in SEQ ID : NOs. 25 to 29; and FR1, FR2, FR3, and FR4 are 4 structure regions derived from a mammal. A method for producing the monoclonal antibody against amygdalin comprises a step of culturing a transformant transformed by a recombinant vector including a gene coding the light chain and heavy chain variable regions. A composition for detecting amygdalin comprises the monoclonal antibody.
