A system and a method for managing and protecting clothing electronic commercial transactions using DRM(Digital Rights Management) are provided to protect design rights of clothing producers and information on the figures of purchasers, thereby preventing damage caused by information drain generated in electronic commercial transactions. A design contents securing apparatus according to a system for managing and protecting a clothing electronic commercial transaction using DRM includes a packager(111), a contents management server(112), an authentication management server(113) and a license server(114). The packager encodes and stores clothing design contents provided from a clothing producer(100). The contents management server registers the design contents. The authentication management server authenticates a certificate of an Internet shopping mall(130) which sells clothes corresponding to the design contents. The license server performs a process of purchasing a license requested by the Internet shopping mall and transmits the license to the Internet shopping mall.
