A full-pole test method of a 800 kv gas circuit breaker and an insulation block for the full-pole test method are provided to improve reliability of breaking performance and insulating performance between cases by preventing generation of leakage current from the gas circuit breaker to the ground due to application of 100 % test voltage. An insulation block(20) for a full-pole test method of a 800 kv gas circuit breaker(10) comprises a first plate(21), a second plate(22), and an insulator(23). The first plate is positioned on an upper part of the gas circuit breaker and is in contact with the gas circuit breaker. The second plate is installed on a lower part of the first plate and is in contact with the ground. The insulator is installed between the first and second plates and insulates between the first and second plates.
