A method and an apparatus for detecting a CCI signal in an OFDM system are provided to enable a CCI removal filter to remove only a CCI part through CCI carrier tone information transmitted from a detector, thereby efficiently removing the CCI even in case that there are various signals in the same BW. A method for detecting a co-channel interference signal in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system comprises the following steps of: setting the pole and BW(Band Width) of a candidate which is previously stored for the same channel(403); filtering a received input signal by using the pole and BW of the candidate; calculating the average power of the filtered input signal for all poles and BWs of the candidate(411); and comparing the calculated average power with the currently filtered output value to detect CCI(Co-Channel Interference)(415).
