THE SANITARY LANDFILL COVER USE OF SEAWAGE SLUDGE AND FUNCTION WASTE, AND PREPARED METHOD THEREOF

A covering soil material for a landfill is provided to minimize generation of bad odors, to impart a sanitary and non-harmful work environment to workers, and to avoid a need for long-term drying treatment. A covering soil material for a landfill comprises: 100 parts by weight of sewage sludge; 40-60 parts by weight of waste phosphogypsum; 10-20 parts by weight of surface-modified steel making slag; and 5-30 parts by weight of quicklime. The covering soil material is obtained by the method comprising the steps of: mixing sewage sludge with waste phosphogypsum; and mixing the resultant mixture with surface-modified steel making slag and quicklime.
