A compressor oil recovery apparatus of a multi-type air conditioner is provided to prevent an inhomogeneous state of oils between compressors by performing homogenous oil operation by a simple valve device and a bypass pipe. A compressor oil recovery apparatus of a multi-type air conditioner comprises a first oil separator(85), a second oil separator(86), a first return pipe(510), a second return pipe(530), a bypass pipe, and a valve device. The first oil separator is connected to a constant speed compressor(83), and separates oil contained in refrigerant discharged from the constant speed compressor. The second oil separator is connected to an inverter compressor(84), and separates the oil contained in the refrigerant discharged from the inverter compressor. The first return pipe has one end connected to the first oil separator and the other end connected to the constant speed compressor, and guides the oil of the first oil separator to the constant speed compressor. The second return pipe has one end connected to the second oil separator and the other end connected to the inverter compressor, and guides the oil of the second oil separator to the inverter compressor. The bypass pipe has one end connected to the first return pipe and the other end connected to the second return pipe, and provides oil discharged from each oil separator to any one compressor selectively. The valve device is provided in each pipe path, and continues/stops oil flow selectively.
