A system and a method for locating a moving object by using RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification), and a wireless repeater installation method for the same are provided to check a location of a moving object stably and precisely in real-time without receiving an environmental effect by installing a wireless repeaters in a single row triangulation network. A wireless repeater(20) recognizes an RFID tag(10) by communicating with the RFID tag attached to a located target. A location determination server(30) determines a location of the located target by using coordinates of city infrastructure including the wireless repeater as a reference point. The location determination server stores a reference coordinate point of each city infrastructure including the wireless repeater by using a database. The reference coordinate point is obtained by using a digital map made for a GIS(Geographic Information System). The wireless repeater provides the reference coordinate point to the location determination server in real-time when the located target is traced.
