WIRELESS MONITORING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING DATA THROUGHPUT IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A wireless monitoring device for measuring data throughput in a mobile communication network, a method thereof, and a system for the same are provided to grasp the state of a mobile communication network by measuring data throughput depending on HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) call connections. A wireless monitoring device(130) for measuring data throughput in a mobile communication network comprises a test server information storage module(131), a transceiver module(133), a data throughput measurement module(137) and a control module(139). The test server information storage module stores connection information to access a test server where a test file for data throughput measurement is stored. The transceiver module accesses the mobile communication network, and downloads the test file from the test server using the access information stored in the test server information storage module. Using the downloaded test file, the data throughput measurement module measures the data throughput of the wireless monitoring device. The control module, connected to the test server information storage module, the transceiver module, and the data throughput measurement module, controls operations to measure the data throughput.
