A curved waveguide, a manufacturing method thereof, an optical transmission module using the curved waveguide, and an HAMR(Heat Assisted Magnetic Recording) head adopting the curved waveguide are provided to obtain a spot with the small size and the light intensity by the near field enhanced aperture structure like a C-shaped aperture and to batch-produce the optical transmission module together with the existing magnetic recording head by a low-temperature planar process.
