摘要

An SAW(Surface Acoustic Waves) based chipless passive RFID tag using cellulose paper as a substrate and a method for manufacturing the cellulose paper are provided to get environment friendly and unharmful to a human body by manufacturing the passive RFID tag with the cellulose paper. An SAW(Surface Acoustic Waves) based chipless passive RFID tag includes cellulose paper(1), a dipole antenna(2), an SAW based IDT(InterDigit Transducer)(3) and plural reflectors(4). If a reader outputs a micro pulse, the pulse is transferred to the IDT via the dipole antenna. Then the pulse generates incident SAW by piezoelectric effect of the cellulose paper, SAW(6b) are variously reflected on the reflectors according to a pattern of the reflectors. The reflected SAW meets the IDT again, and gets converted into electric waves by the piezoelectric effect. The converted electric waves are outputted via the antenna and sensed by an RFID reader.
