PROTOCOL AND ITS APPLICATION FOR SOC-, SIP- AND PCB-BASED SYSTEM TO SUPPORT COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER MULTIPLE PROTOCOLS AND QOS IN IP LEVEL

A protocol and a method for SoC, SiP and PCB based system to support compatibility with multiple protocols and QoS in an IP level are provided to obtain a rapid system-on-chip design by supporting adaptively compatibility between on/off chip protocols. A method for performing a communication process between IPs(Information Provider) using different on/off chip protocols includes a process for performing a communication process suitable for mutual compatibility by exchanging protocol information of a present IP. The protocol information exchanging process is performed by using a protocol ID. A protocol converter analyzes a response of a destination by using the protocol ID. The method includes a process for transmitting a response of a destination independently of a departure and a process for transmitting responsive information to the departure by performing a network routing process using the responsive information.
