A certificate revocation list reduction method for communication efficiency in a wireless sensor network is provided to form an efficiency wireless sensor network by reducing communication overhead and reducing a size of a certificate revocation list. A binary tree forming process is performed to form a binary tree including IDs of revoked nodes(S10). A setting process is performed to set a revoking state of a certificate as a bit value(S20). A certificate revocation list is arranged in a bit stream of certificate ID orders on the basis of the bit value(S30). A reduction process is performed to reduce a size of the certificate revocation list arranged in the bit stream by using a RLE encoding method(S40). A conversion process is performed to convert kinds of RLE encoding processes according to a converting point(S50).
