ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED TOUCHPAD POINTING DEVICE

An ergonomic pointing device of a touch pad is provided to enhance user convenience by avoiding movement of a hand between an external mouse and a keyboard in a desktop computer. An ergonomic pointing device of a touch pad(701) includes a function button(702). A bulgy and hollow structure of a computer body(705) guides the function button together with a spring(704) and a dome switch(703) such that the function button moves up and down in parallel. In case that the function button is in an off state, the function button is protruded from a surrounding surface. In case that the function button is in an on state, the function button is on the same level as the surrounding surface.
