SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE PLANNING OF POSTAL TRANSPORTATION NETWORK

A system and a method for managing a postal distribution network, and a computer-readable recording medium storing a program thereof are provided to adjust and make transportation facilities based on a transportation result of each transportation facility, and compare expected exchange quantities automatically before/after the transportation facilities are adjusted and made. A user interface screen(201) receives references needed for making a transportation facility adjusting and making a plan from a user, and inquires the transportation facility adjusting or making a plan, and an expected exchange quantity result output from an engine by a request of the user. An engine(203) makes a new transportation facility plan based on the received references, and calculates the expected exchange quantity, which is the remaining quantity after a concentrated section quantity is assigned to the transportation facilities of a concentrated station network. A database(202) stores information needed for enabling the engine to output the transportation facility adjusting and making plan, the plans, and the expected exchange quantity result.
