An equipment for opening or closing a door for a die casting apparatus is provided to maximize spatial efficiency by allowing a door to horizontally move on a rectangular body frame of which a central part is opened, thereby opening or closing the door in a state that a separate space for opening or closing the door is not required. In an equipment for opening or closing a door for a die casting apparatus(30), which is electrically connected to a robot to open or close the door according to a control signal of the robot, the equipment comprises: a body frame having rails horizontally installed on one side thereof; a door(22) having a joining part formed on one face thereof such that the joining part is joined with the rails; a door transfer part(23) which is installed on the other side of the body frame, and of which one end is joined with one face of the door to move the door horizontally along the rails; and a control switch part(40) which is installed on the another side of the body frame and connected to the robot to drive the door transfer part according to the control signal of the robot. The body frame includes both vertical members(21a) and upper and lower members(21b,21c) installed on top and lower portions of the vertical members. The door transfer part is a cylinder. The cylinder is installed on one side of a top portion of the upper member of the body frame, and a drive rod(23a) of the cylinder is joined with an upper part of the door through a joining bracket(24) to transfer the door in the horizontal direction according to forward and backward movements of the drive rod.
