PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER OF LOW SURFACE ROUGHNESS AND EXCELLENT SENSITIVITY CHARACTERISTICS AND COLOR FILTER USING THEREOF

A photosensitive resin composition, and a color filter prepared by using the composition are provided to reduce surface roughness, to improve sensitivity and to enhance development, heat resistance, chemical resistance and electrical properties with a small amount of exposure. A photosensitive resin composition comprises 0.5-40 wt% of an alkali-soluble resin; 1-30 wt% of a photopolymerizable monomer; 0.1-20 wt% of a photopolymerization initiator; 5-55 wt% of a pigment; 0.01-10 wt% of an antioxidizing agent; 0.01-2 wt% of a fluorine-based or silicone-based leveling agent; and the balance of a solvent. Preferably the alkali-soluble resin comprises 0.5-20 wt% of an acrylic resin containing a carboxyl group and 0.01-20 wt% of an epoxy novolac acrylic carboxylate resin based on the total amount of the composition.
