CONNECTION STRUCTURE FOR SOCKET TYPE POST AND COLUMN OF STEEL FRAME

A connection structure for a socket type post and a column of steel frame is provided to weld diaphragms to the column conveniently by forming a tapered face on the inner surface of the diaphragm. A connection structure for a socket type post comprises an upper column(110), a lower column(120), ring-like diaphragms(300), a male socket(310), a female socket(320), and a socket ring(330) for the post. The upper and lower columns are made by cutting the column. The diaphragms are each welded to the ends of the upper and lower columns. The male socket is welded to the rim of the diaphragm welded to the upper column, and provided with a threaded part around the outer surface. The female socket is welded to the ring of the diaphragm welded to the lower column, and provided with a threaded part on the inner surface. The socket ring is fixed to the outer surface of the male socket. The diaphragms include tapered faces(302) whose diameter gets wider gradually.
