A treatment method for directly treating, at site, printing wastewater generated from a digital textile printing process that is an urban textile printing process is provided, and a printing wastewater treatment apparatus that is manufactured in a compact formed and can be used in the treatment method of the printing wastewater is provided. A method for treating digital textile printing wastewater comprises the steps of: treating printing wastewater generated from a digital textile printing process by an ultrafiltration treatment process to separate ultrafiltration concentrated water and ultrafiltration treated water from the printing wastewater; and treating the ultrafiltration treated water by a reverse osmosis treatment process to separate reverse osmosis concentrated water and reverse osmosis treated water from the ultrafiltration treated water. The ultrafiltration concentrated water is circulated to mix the ultrafiltration concentrated water with newly supplied printing wastewater, and the reverse osmosis concentrated water is circulated to mix the reverse osmosis concentrated water with the ultrafiltration treated water. The method further comprises the step of adjusting a flow rate of the ultrafiltration treated water supplied to the reverse osmosis treatment process after performing the ultrafiltration treatment process.
