METHOD FOR A DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA BROADCASTING PHONE CALL USING DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA BROADCASTING PHONE NUMBER SHORTCUT KEYS

A call method using a hot key in a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) terminal is provided to shorten a time for attempting call origination by enabling a user to make a call directly through a hot key while the user is receiving DMB data. In case the user of a DMB terminal attempts call origination in the middle of receiving a digital multimedia broadcast(S10), the user pushes a specific hot key during a certain time(S12). The DMB terminal searches for a phone number matched with the hot key(S14). If a matched phone number exists, the DMB terminal stops receiving the digital multimedia broadcast(S16) and attempts call origination to the matched phone number(S18). Afterwards, the user executes telephone conversation with the other side(S20). If the telephone conversation is completed, the DMB terminal accesses and continuously receives the digital multimedia broadcast(S22).
