An attached file list displaying method of a mobile communication terminal, a download and upload method of an attached file by using an e-mail protocol, and the mobile communication terminal for performing the method are provided to extract all of attached files included in received messages from the messages, and to display the files separately from the messages, thereby more conveniently performing downloading and uploading of the attached files. If a user demands downloading of attached files or e-mail messages(S310), a download menu screen for downloading the attached files or the e-mail messages is displayed(S320). If the user selects a "File name download menu" through an input unit(S330), a file name list of the attached files included in the e-mail messages is displayed on a display unit(S340).
