METHOD FOR GENERATING CROSS PLATFORM PROGRAM AND MIDDLEWARE PLATFORM LAYER THEREOF

A method and a device for interoperating a program among heterogeneous platforms are provided to shorten time needed for porting a developed 3D(Dimensional) game to other platforms and promote a mobile game industry by providing various kinds of mobile games to various kinds of mobile terminals. An API(Application Program Interface) extractor extracts the number of source and target APIs(Application Program Interface,210,260) corresponding to a function by extracting the source APIs corresponding to the target APIs based on the predetermined function. An API mapper maps the source API to the target API by corresponding to the number of source and target APIs. The API mapping part compares a structure of the source API with the structure of the target API, and maps the source API to the target API when both structures are identical with each other. The API mapper extracts a factor needed for generating the target API and maps the extracted factor to the target API when both structures are similar.
