MULTI-POST OF THE AUTOMATIC OPERATION ESCALATOR WHICH USES THE SUPERSONIC WAVES SENSOR AND THE SAFETY-BAR

A multi-post of an automatic operation escalator is provided to perform a preliminary operation without a sudden operation before driving an escalator by detecting outgoing/incoming people through a supersonic wave sensor and transmitting the detected information. A multi-post of an automatic operation escalator includes a transmission unit, a receiving unit, a control unit, an ultrasonic sensor(21), and a signal amplifier. The transmission unit transmits an infrared signal. The receiving unit receives the signal transmitted from the transmission unit. The control unit controls an escalator in response to the received signal of the receiving unit. The ultrasonic sensor is installed on a front plane of the multi-post, transmits and determines a distance through a moving direction of outgoing/incoming people by transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave. The signal amplifier amplifies an attenuated signal when the transmitted ultrasonic wave is reflected and returned. The control unit determines a distance of the outgoing/incoming people and switches on/off each of functions.
