A kind of method and apparatus are arranged to obtain multipath diversity income for controlling a rake finger in the multipath environment of a small―gap suture of a mobile communication system by distributing multiple fingers in a closed position. Group's determination unit receives location information from searchers, determines multiple paths as the cluster base on location information. Path status setting device receives the intensity information of searchers, receives cluster information from group's determination unit. Path status is arranged device and a path status is arranged, based on the intensity information for including path in group. Finger base of the finger allocation unit distribution on the path state information from path status setting device. Weight value α applying unit puts on the path state information from path status setting device using a track direction weight value α base.
