METHOD FOR SEPERATING PVC FROM PVC CONTAINED PLASTIC

A method for separating PVC(Polyvinyl Chloride) from plastic containing PVC is provided to secure the high quality and recovery rate of recycled particles by keeping the optimal relative humidity, voltage intensity, and air speed according to the kind of material of the recycled particles. A method for separating PVC from plastic containing PVC by using an electrostatic separator comprises the steps of: crushing plastic into mixed particles consisting of PVC particles and recycled particles; injecting the mixed particles into a charging unit comprising charged materials; charging the PVC particles with the negative pole and the recycled particles with the positive pole by rubbing or bumping the mixed particles against each other; and moving the PVC particles to an anode plate and the recycled particles to a cathode plate by passing the PVC and recycled particles through a gap between the anode plate and the cathode plate.
