METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EVALUATING SAFETY OF STEEL TUBE BY USING FLUID PRESSURE

A method and a device for evaluating the safety of a concrete charge steel pipe are provided to evaluate propriety of welding of the concrete charge steel pipe or compute the charge height of concrete conveniently and economically through the variation of fluid pressure without applying the concrete. A method for evaluating the safety of a concrete charge steel pipe comprises a step for filling up the concrete charge steel pipe with fluid and closing it, a step for applying the pressure to the fluid in the concrete charge steel pipe, a step for measuring the pressure exerted on the concrete charge steel pipe and the stress or displacement generated in the concrete charge steel pipe, and a step for determining whether the measured value complies with an evaluation standard.
