A method for preparing glass-beads coated with nano-silver is provided to uniformly and solidly coat the nano-silver on the glass-beads and obtain the nano-silver coated glass-beads with high productivity and high antibacterial and sterilizing effects. A method for preparing glass-beads coated with nano-silver comprises the steps of: (a) putting glass-beads, a nano-silver colloid solution, and an aqueous solution of NaOH in a reaction container and gradually heating a mixture solution with agitation to coat the glass-beads; and (b) cooling it after the completion of coating, removing the remaining solution therefrom and then drying, wherein the mixture solution is freely heated to the temperature of 30 deg.C, the mixture solution is gradually heated from the temperature of the 30 deg.C with the increase of 1-5 deg.C/min for 10-70 minutes within the range of not exceeding 100 deg.C and if the color of the mixture solution changes to dark gray, then the solution is further heated at that temperature for 20-40 minutes.
