A self-cleaning heat exchanger by using a solid particle-water supply system is provided to spray a mixed fluid of solid particles and water into a vertical heat pipe to run down the mixed fluid along a heat transmitting plane of a heat exchanger, and increase contact efficiency between the solid particles and the heat transmitting plane to increase efficiency of cleaning the heat transmitting plane. A solid particle supply unit(8) stores and supplies solid particles cleaning a vertical heat pipe(6). A water supply unit(18) fluidizes the solid particles stored in the solid particle supply unit to supply the solid particles to a mixed fluid discharge unit(7), or supplies water directly to the mixed fluid discharge unit. The mixed fluid discharge unit absorbs the supplied solid particles and water for spraying a mixed fluid at an upper part of the vertical heat pipe to clean the vertical heat pipe. A separating plate(9) separates the mixed fluid into solid particles and water by using gravity dust collecting due to self-weight.
