A bioactive glass nanofiber-collagen nanocomposite is provided to produce a bone generation matrix in membrane and porous scaffold form useful for the generation of bone and teeth. A bioactive glass nanofiber-collagen nanocomposite is produced by: preparing a glass precursor by adding TEOS, calcium nitrate, and triethyl phosphate to a mixture of water-ethanol containing 1g of HCl; preparing a bioactive glass nanofiber; dissolving 0.1-1g of collagen(Type I) in 10-1000ml of an acidic solution; adding 50-5000ml PBS and incubating for 24 hours at 37deg.C; diffusing the bioactive glass nanofiber and mixing the collagen filamentous solution with the bioactive glass nanofiber at a ratio of 10:90-90:10 by weight to obtain a nanofiber composite suspension; forming the suspension into membrane and porous scaffold.
