A floating type underwater bridge and a construction method of a floating type underwater bridge are provided to construct a bridge main body assembled with bridge main body units, which are manufactured on the land, quickly and economically in the water using an incremental launching method. A floating type underwater bridge(100) includes a bridge main body(101) assembled with bridge main body units(110) having a hollow(111) and formed to make two ends located on the land and the middle located in seawater, bridge bearings(120,120',120") supporting the lower part of the bridge main body at many spots along the bridge main body, a bridge cover(130) fixed to the bridge bearing to cover the upper part of the bridge main body, plural cables(141,143) connecting the bridge bearing to the bottom of the sea, and a buoyancy pontoon(150) settled at the bottom of the sea to pressurize the seabed fixed with the cables safely. A construction method of a floating type underwater bridge comprises the steps of: installing a bridge bearing to be floated by buoyant force of a buoyancy pontoon in the water; settling a bridge main body assembled with bridge main body units to many bridge bearings installed in the seawater with an incremental launching method; putting a bridge cover on the bridge bearing and fixing the bridge cover to the bridge bearing; removing all gravity blocks located in the bridge main body; and boring a hole(151) to the buoyancy pontoon and filling up the buoyancy pontoon with seawater to make the buoyancy pontoon immersed vertically along the longitudinal direction of a stay cable fixed to the bridge bearing and settled to the bottom of the sea.
