TUNNEL ACCIDENT AUTO DETECTING SYSTEM AND DETECTING METHOD THEREOF

A system for detecting automatically tunnel accident and a detecting method thereof are provided to obtain traffic condition information in a tunnel by using a camera for photographing the inside of tunnel. A system for detecting automatically tunnel accident includes a camera(110), a position adjusting unit(130), a sensor integration transmitter(120), a controller(140), and an illumination unit(150). The camera photographs the inside of a tunnel. The position adjusting unit installed at a lower portion of the camera memories current photographing position and adjusts the direction of the camera by moving. The sensor integration transmitter transmits the condition information of the tunnel obtained from sensors in the tunnel to the controller. The controller receives/transmits the data from/to the sensor integration transmitter and camera. The illumination unit controls lighting around the camera and transmits alarm signal to a remote center when the lighting is turned off.
