ADSORBENT USING NATURAL ZEOLITE POWDER AND METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF DIOXINS IN THE FLUE GAS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided are dioxin elimination adsorbent being capable of removing dioxin with high removal efficiency without ignition risk at low cost by using powdery zeolite as raw material and a method for removing dioxin using the same adsorbent. CONSTITUTION: The adsorbent is powdery zeolite with a grain size of at least 150 mesh. The method comprises the steps of (a) spraying powdery zeolite with a grain size of at least 150 mesh into flue gas to adsorb dioxin, and removing the powdery zeolite into which dioxin is adsorbed using a dust collector.
