Water permeable street tree protection structures with an environment-friendly water storage space designed to be placed on a substrate layer at the lower end part of a roadside boundary stone are provided to prevent street trees from falling down by typhoons or strong winds, to supply water and nutrients to the roots of the street trees continuously and to improve water quality by the emission of negative ions from a tourmaline layer. Water permeable street tree protection structures with an environment-friendly water storage space comprises: a substrate layer(1) formed at the lower end part of a roadside boundary stone; a tourmaline layer(2) containing 300 to 500g tourmaline per 1m^2 on the substrate layer ; a moisture supply layer(3) containing 70% by weight of pumice or orchid stone and 30% by weight of charcoal on the tourmaline layer; a water storage space layer(4) with a water-storage space by a porous plate on the moisture supply layer; and a water permeable layer or a water permeable surface layer(5) containing 75 to 85% by weight of a porous rock and 15 to 25% by weight of a binder. The porous rock is obtained by mixing 75 to 85% by weight of pumice or orchid stone, 15 to 25% by weight of a water proofing agent and 0.3 to 3% by weight of a curing accelerator and curing. The binder is a urethane binder or mortar.
