A system for monitoring charging/discharging of a lithium rechargeable battery pack is provided to exchange a parallel block or a unit block correctly and rapidly when a rechargeable battery pack has a problem by having the rechargeable battery pack of a large capacity. A system of monitoring charging/discharging of a lithium rechargeable battery pack includes a rechargeable battery pack(10), a protection circuit(20), a charging/discharging detection sensor(30), and a micro controller(40). One unit parallel block is composed of a plurality of parallel lithium rechargeable unit cells. A parallel block is composed of a plurality of unit parallel blocks. The rechargeable battery pack(10) has a plurality of parallel blocks which are connected to each other in series. The protection circuit(20) is connected to the lithium rechargeable battery pack(10) in series, and is electrically connected to a voltage measuring point between the parallel blocks. The charging/discharging detection sensor(30) is connected to the unit parallel block through a resistor, and a temperature sensor. The charging/discharging detection sensor(30) transmits a voltage, a current and a temperature of the unit parallel block to the micro controller(40). The micro controller(40) displays a detection value of the unit parallel block received from the charging/discharging detection sensor on a monitor. The micro controller(40) displays an alarm message in case that the detection value is more than a predetermined value. The micro controller(40) transmits an input/output blocking signal for the parallel block having the unit parallel block to the protection circuit(20) in case that the detection value for the unit parallel block reaches a threshold value.
