A method for managing a cost of precision quality in ship construction is provided to extract an index to calculate a cost for modification of each stage by using a monitoring analysis result of bad precision quality and calculate a post-process cost based on bad quality by estimating or calculating unnecessary production output caused by the bad quality. A cutting process, a panel bonding process, a marking process, and a longe welding process are monitored in real-time(S301). Additional manufacturing costs corresponding to each process are calculated from details monitored from each process(S302). Precision quality cost indexes are calculated and quantified from the additional manufacturing costs(S303). The quantified precision quality cost indexes are integrated and managed in a centralized way(S304). Width and length dimension defect, and linearity defect of a single panel are monitored in the cutting process. Process and human error is monitored in the panel bonding process. Longe interval defect is monitored in the marking process. The longe interval defect, longe linearity defect, longe perpendicularity defect, and face-except deformation error are monitored in the longe welding process.
