MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL EQUIPMENT FOR IMPLEMENTING HOT MENU AND ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS USING SHIFT KEY AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal implementing an abbreviated menu and an additional function by using a shift key and a method thereof are provided to perform various functions when a user depresses a shift key and another key simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: A controller(10) controls generation operation of a mobile communication terminal, and when a user depresses a shift key(32) and a general key, the controller(10) searches and executes a corresponding execution menu. A display unit(20) displays various messages. A key input unit(30) includes the shift key(32) and a plurality of number and function keys, and outputs key input data corresponding to keys pressed by the user to the controller(10). A memory(40) stores an abbreviated execution menu of the mobile communication terminal corresponding to key input data. A radio unit(60) transmits and receives voice data and control data. A voice processor(50) converts the voice data received from the radio unit(60) into an audible sound and outputs through a speaker, and changes a voice signal received from a microphone to data and outputs the data to the radio unit(60).
