Functional teats for playing are provided to enable a baby to listen to mother's voice, various music or natural sounds to make the baby feel stabilized spiritually and to give satisfactory feelings of biting teats. A coupling cylinder(12) is formed to extend on the rear of a teat body(11). A PCB case(13) is coupled to the coupling cylinder. A PCB(14) on which components of a sound generating circuit portion(18) are mounted is built in a receiving space between the coupling cylinder and the PCB case. The sound generating circuit portion includes a memory, a speaker, a mike, a sound source storing circuit portion, a sound source reproducing circuit portion, a button and a control portion. The control portion controls the sound source reproducing circuit portion to read selected sound source from the memory and to reproduce and output the sound source to the speaker.
