A method for preparing a microcapsule comprising Rehmannia glutinosa is provided to extract physiologically active ingredients contained in the Rehmannia glutinosa effectively, obtain the microcapsule from self-ingredients of the Rehmannia glutinosa and increase the efficiency of the microcapsule with water-solubility. A method for preparing a microcapsule comprising Rehmannia glutinosa comprises the steps of: (a) pulverizing the Rehmannia glutinosa to have a size of less than 100 mesh; (b) dissolving or suspending 5-20 grams of the pulverized Rehmannia glutinosa in 100ml of water to prepare a solution including a physiologically active material; and (c) treating the solution with ultrasonic wave or boiling it to extract the microcapsule for 0.5-5 minutes. In the method, the prepared microcapsule is in the form of a liquid phase or powder. Further, an extract of the Rehmannia glutinosa is added instead of the pulverized Rehmannia glutinosa.
