SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING CONTEXT INFORMATION SERVICE BY EDUCATION LEVEL USING THE INTERNET

A system and a method for providing a context information service according to an education level in the Internet are provided to search information corresponding to each context of a document based on a desired level and offer the searched context information to a client by connecting to a context information service system when the user uses a word processor. A plurality of databases(316, 318) stores a plurality of explanations corresponding to each context by each level. A switch(314) accesses the database by switching one of the databases according to a switching control signal corresponding to the level requested from a user. A context search controller(310) switches the data corresponding to the level by providing the switching control signal corresponding to the level to the switch and provides a context search result to a client. A context searcher(312) searches the explanation corresponding to the context received from the context search controller in the switched database and provides the context search result to the context search controller. The particular level includes one of an elementary, middle, high school, university or general level.
