ANTI-OXIDANT AND ANTI-INFLAMMATORY CHINESE COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING DIOSPYROS KAKI, GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA, OPUNTIA FICUS-INDICA, AND MORUS ALBA AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

An oriental herb cosmetic composition for anti-oxidizing and skin soothing is provided to show no toxicity against keratinocyte and excellent chemical antioxidizing capability and oxidation inhibitory capacity of an enzyme, to require no antiseptic for a cosmetic capable of inducing skin irritation, and be effective for soothing damaged skin. A method for preparing an oriental herb cosmetic composition with anti-oxidizing and skin-soothing activities comprises the steps of: (a) extracting a mixture consisting of 20-40 parts by weight of Diospyros kaki, 20-40 parts by weight of Glycyrrhiza glabra, 10-30 parts by weight of Opuntia ficus-indica, and 10-30 parts by weight of Morus alba with hot water; and (b) heating the hot water extract to generate stem and cooling the stem to obtain distillate.
