REMOTE CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEM OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING MESSAGE OF NORMAL TELEPHONE

A system for controlling and monitoring an electronic device by using the text message of a normal telephone is provided to control each electronic device by a plurality of handy modules provided to be matched with the microcomputer of the normal telephone as the same telephone number, thereby reducing initial installation cost and being easy to install the system. An external terminal(100) has a message transmission block which generates a text message for controlling an electronic device and transmits the text message to a normal telephone(300). The normal telephone includes a communication interface(310), a microcomputer(320), and a handy channel unit(330). The communication interface transceives the text message to the external terminal on a normal communication network(200). The microcomputer transmits the text message received through the communication interface to all handy modules matched as the same telephone number. A handy module(400) includes a terminal channel unit(410), a tag filter unit(420), a message analysis unit(430), a control command unit(440), and a controller connection unit(450). The tag filter unit compares an ID(Identification) tag of each of received text messages with the ID tag of the tag filter unit to determine whether two tags match each other and filter the matched tag. The controller connection unit is electrically connected to the controller of each electronic device to be controlled to transmit a control command to the electronic device.
