A RECONFIGURABLE ANTENNA USING PIN-DIODES

A reconfigurable antenna using pin-diodes is provided to integrate WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) service and DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) service in a wireless terminal by connecting and disconnecting a main patch element and a parasitic patch element. A reconfigurable antenna using pin-diodes includes a dielectric substrate(17), a patch element, and a ground surface(16). The patch element is formed on the dielectric substrate and supplies a plurality of service bands by changing a current path. The ground surface is formed on a surface different from a surface of the dielectric substrate on which the patch element is formed. The patch element includes a main patch element(11), a parasitic patch element(12), and a plurality of pin-diodes(15) for connecting and disconnecting the main patch element and the parasitic patch element through on and off.
