SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD FOR TRACKING ILLEGALLY COPIED CONTENTS ON THE BASIS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

A system and a method for protecting illegal contents use with personal information are provided to prevent voluntarily illegal contents distribution of a legal user by providing personal information of the legal user in a recognizable state and eradicate illegal contents copy/distribution by finding out a starting point of the illegal contents copy. A main server(31) is connected to a user terminal(10). An information inserter(33) is connected to the main server, and inserts the personal information received from into the contents in the state that the inserted personal information is displayed to the user using the contents. A database(37) stores the contents and the personal information by connecting to the main server. An authentication server(35) is connected to the main server, generate/stores an authentication number including the personal information to a database, and transmits the authentication number to the user terminal through the main server. The personal information includes at least one of a user name, resident registration number, and driving license number.
