A multipath mitigated side-peak cancellation system for tracking a BOC(Binary Offset Carrier) signal and a cancellation and mitigation method thereof are provided to remove a side peak for tracking a BOC signal to be used in a GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System), thereby enabling efficient synchronization and reducing influence caused by a multipath error. A receiving unit(10) receives a BOC signal for receiving and synchronizing the BOC signal. A converting unit(20) operates the BOC signal with a pseudo noise code and converts the BOC signal into a basis signal. A peak cancellation unit has a correlator and cancels the side peak of the BOC signal using the basis signal. A control unit(50) controls the receiving unit, the converting unit, the peak cancellation unit, and a system(100).
