An AD(ADvertisement) agent system using an API(Application Program Interface) and an AD agent method using the same are provided to register AD easily to a plurality of search sites by using a keyword inputted through a keyword input window of the search sites and/or a similar keyword related to the keyword. A search site server(110) updates a site screen including a keyword input window, and displays information of an advertiser related to a keyword, and AD expense, period, and position information of the AD displayed in the site screen as well as the information for a document and a site related to the keyword inputted to the keyword input window. A search site side database(112) is connected to the search site server, and stores the keyword, the information of the advertiser related to the keyword, and the AD expense, period, and position information to be displayed in the search site server. A service server(150) constructs a service server side database(160) by storing a result of the keyword inputted to the keyword input window of the search site server, forms a result screen from the service server side database, transfers the result screen to an advertiser terminal(130), and registers the AD by connecting to the search site side database.
